SAN PEDRO DE MACORIS .- The government authorities in their plans to assist low-income people have installed nine pharmacies in the town in the province.

dozens of people go to these pharmacies to buy essential drugs at affordable prices to mitigate their sufferings.
In San Pedro de Macoris, Essential Drug Program-PROMESE-installed regional hospital pharmacies in Antonio Musa, at the Universidad Central del Este, in the Free Zone as well as Primary Care Units located in Plaza 30 to 30 and Barrio Lindo.
Village also operates pharmacies in hospitals in the municipality Consuelo Angel Ponce, Alejo Martinez Ramon Santana, Pedro Maria Santana de San José de los Llanos and Primary Care Unit of the municipality Quisqueya.
With the operation of these pharmacies will benefit thousands of persons of limited economic resources who come to buy their medicines.
