With a ceremony in the square front of the Provincial Directorate of Health in San Pedro de Macoris, was launched the second phase of Vaccination Week in the Americas.
The ceremony was led by Dr. Derco Reyes, Provincial Director of Health and were accompanied by Dr. Elsa Valdez, Regional Manager Healthcare Health Service, Dr. Domingo Oliva Area Manager of Health, Dr. Dario Crispin, Regional Manager of SENASA, Dr. Miguelina Landerford in charge of vaccine, the Ada Ruiz, Administrative Manager of the Regional Health Service, Dr. Zayas Trustee on behalf of Municipal and Captain David Lizardo and Dr. Mercedes Rodriguez, in charge of Provincial Programs Health.

Dr. Reyes to addressing those present stressed the importance of vaccination campaigns that many diseases can be prevented when they apply to us.
The first phase began last week in schools and rural areas, in this second stage is applied vaccines Polio Tetanus, Diphtheria, among others, and will apply to children and adults, will be held mode fixed posts, mobile, and in some areas will be held from house to house.
Others present at this ceremony was the lawyer Innocent Mercedes, manager of the Provincial Health Department, Dr. Rosa de Luna, Dr. Juan Garcia, among other officials.
