With the participation of leading health authorities in the region that was carried out Health Fair in Duarte Park in this city of San Pedro de Macoris.

was present in the same Dr. Roberto Peguero, Deputy Minister of Public Health, who highlighted the bond between the authorities of that sector and praised the performance of the fair to note the large number of people had gathered to see the tents of the different institutions. 
The fair was coordinated by the Provincial Directorate of Health, Regional Health Service and Management The Health Area of \u200b\u200bthe city. 
Dr. Jose Reyes to speak to the present, said that from 7 April 1950 which is when this day is established global health each year is a specific topic and in this 2011 is the emphasis on what is self-medication and the problems that can cause this practice, called on people not automedicarce and urged citizens to attend the 153 primary care units we have in this region where we have a staff trained to provide the care deserving population.
The fair was attended by licensed Alcibiades Tavares, Provincial Governor, Congressman Leonard Sandoval, Dr. Derco Reyes, Provincial Director of Health, Dr. Domingo Oliva, Area Manager of Health in San Pedro de Macoris, Dr. Elsa Valdez, Care Manager, Ms. Ada Ruiz, Administrative Manager Health Service, among other authorities and health personnel in the region. 
Throughout the park area were observed Duarte tents of institutions like the hospital Pino Jaime Oliver, Hope and Charity Clinic, Family Medicine Clinic Dr. Franklin Peña, Ana Belkis Foundation, the Laboratory Post Clinical Lab, Hospital Ramón Alejo Martinez Santana, among others, in which blood glucose test is made, blood typing, blood pressure measurements, Vaccination, lectures on nutrition and delivery of educational material.
