THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND REGIONAL HEALTH SERVICE MAKE THIS FORUM HIV / AIDS.

The United States Agency for International Development ( USAID) through the Project for Strengthening the Services of HIV / AIDS, the Ministry of Health and the Regional Health Services East, made an important forum called Challenges of the Prevention of HIV / AIDS from the state.

Dr. Jose Reyes, Regional Manager of Health and the lic. Angela de Leon, Director of the Comprehensive Project to address those present at the opening remarks of the forum, stressed the importance of the activity since it aims to create a space for socialization among the various institutions of the health system with a presence in the region east of the country .

This forum addressed several issues including the prevention of HIV / AIDS based on the evidence, Strengths, Opportunities and Gaps Prevention Programs in the Region, which were shown by Mr. Deivi Ventura, as well as, Prorgramas for Prevention of HIV / AIDS in the first level of care, this was done by Dr. Elsa Valdez, Manager of Health Care Service.

While Dr. Dulce Chahin, spoke about HIV / AIDS in the Eastern Region, while foundations that work in prevention and assistance to people with HIV / AIDS such as Hope and Charity Clinic, This Love, ADOPLAFAM AND COIN spoke about his experience in programs running.

This forum was attended by Ada Ruiz, Administrative Manager Health Service, Dr. Marcelino Vilorio, Strategic Manager of the institution as well as Area Health Managers from each of the province of the region.

Other officials who participated in the activity were the doctors Derco Reyes, Provincial Director, the Licensed Lesbia Llaverias, Regional Coordinator of Laboratories and Ana Celia Mejia, Head of Human Resources and Dr. Mercedes Rodriguez, Program Coordinator of the Provincial Health Department of San Pedro, among others.
