REPAIR OF VILLA PROGRESS AND HOPE 2
The East Regional Health Service, conducts a program of repair Primary Care Unit, with the aim of providing the population with the highest quality service to users of the same.
These repairs are made after an inspection conducted by Dr. Jose Reyes, Regional Manager of Health and verify the conditions of insecurity that operated some of them.

The repair works have been performed on UNAP as it works in the neighborhood of Villa Progreso 2, the same was done with an attached and were divided clinics and 2 baths were constructed, this action was welcomed by the inhabitants of this sector and staff working in the center.
Other UNAPs where repair work is that of Villa Esperanza which was visited by Ms Ada Ruiz, Administrative Manager Regional Health Service, to contact and start the appropriateness of this.

THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND REGIONAL HEALTH SERVICE MAKE THIS FORUM HIV / AIDS.
The United States Agency for International Development ( USAID) through the Project for Strengthening the Services of HIV / AIDS, the Ministry of Health and the Regional Health Services East, made an important forum called Challenges of the Prevention of HIV / AIDS from the state.
Dr. Jose Reyes, Regional Manager of Health and the lic. Angela de Leon, Director of the Comprehensive Project to address those present at the opening remarks of the forum, stressed the importance of the activity since it aims to create a space for socialization among the various institutions of the health system with a presence in the region east of the country .
This forum addressed several issues including the prevention of HIV / AIDS based on the evidence, Strengths, Opportunities and Gaps Prevention Programs in the Region, which were shown by Mr. Deivi Ventura, as well as, Prorgramas for Prevention of HIV / AIDS in the first level of care, this was done by Dr. Elsa Valdez, Manager of Health Care Service.
While Dr. Dulce Chahin, spoke about HIV / AIDS in the Eastern Region, while foundations that work in prevention and assistance to people with HIV / AIDS such as Hope and Charity Clinic, This Love, ADOPLAFAM AND COIN spoke about his experience in programs running.
This forum was attended by Ada Ruiz, Administrative Manager Health Service, Dr. Marcelino Vilorio, Strategic Manager of the institution as well as Area Health Managers from each of the province of the region.
Other officials who participated in the activity were the doctors Derco Reyes, Provincial Director, the Licensed Lesbia Llaverias, Regional Coordinator of Laboratories and Ana Celia Mejia, Head of Human Resources and Dr. Mercedes Rodriguez, Program Coordinator of the Provincial Health Department of San Pedro, among others.

JOSE REYES MEETS WITH HEALTH AUTHORITIES OF THE REGION. MEMBERS VISIT
Health Regional Manager East, headed a meeting with Provincial Health Directors and Managers Areas of the region to take actions to mark the day off for Easter. Dr. Jose Reyes said that all health sector actors are engaged to be that people have all the different services in primary care facilities especially those located in towns that are frequented by large numbers of people in the week higher. Reyes also said that educational materials were distributed to the prevention of cholera. At the meeting attended by doctors and Elsa Vilorio Marcelino Valdez, Strategic Managers and care respectively, and Drs Derco Reyes, Rina Reyes, Anatilde Rodriguez, Mercedes Rodriguez among others.

Friendly Hospital Initiative Project for Children and Mothers sponsors Nations Fund Children's Fund (UNICEF) participated in an important meeting with executives East Regional Health Service and managers of two hospitals in the province of San Pedro de Macoris. The meeting was attended Drs Indira Morales of the National Breastfeeding Mary Celeste Torivio and Chain, while the Service Regional Health was Dr. Jose Reyes, Regional Manager of the institution, as well as Dr. Elsa Valdez, Manager Welfare of itself, while Jaques was Dr. Lorenza representing Alejo Martinez Hospital in the municipality of Ramon Santana, who is its director and the hospital took Anthony Musa Dr. Felix Mejia in his capacity as managing editor. . At this meeting the program's technical Breastfeeding presented a series of steps and requirements must have a health center to form part of the Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative on Children and Mothers and their interest in this region can include some hospitals in this program as it currently no center of this region is included in it. This initiative is carried in several hospitals in the South, the Cibao and the National District. Health authorities in the region that expressed interest in this program can be applied in this part of the country.
