MAKE STRATEGY LAUNCH FIGHT AGAINST TUBERCULOSIS IN THE EAST. 
SAN PEDRO DE MACORÍS.-The East Regional Health Service, conducted the launch of the Stop TB Strategy and Detection of respiratory symptoms in a ceremony held in front esplanade regional hospital Dr. Anthony Muse of San Pedro de Macoris, where authorities met National, Regional and Provincial Health Sector. The ceremony was led by Dr. José Reyes, Manager and Eastern Regional Health brought together representatives from different institutions that provide support for the fight against tuberculosis, as is the case of the United States Agency for International Development was represented by Ms Mary Castillo. The activity began with the invocation of God by Dr. Ana Tilde Rodríguez, followed by Dr. Derco Reyes, Provincial Director of Health who was responsible for the words of welcome. Dr. Jose Reyes
to deliver the keynote address of the act stated that all together we can reduce the mortality of people affected de la Tuberculosis y llamó a todo el personal de Salud a empoderarse de esta estrategia y activar la búsqueda de Sintomáticos Respiratorios ya que es una responsabilidad de todos luchar por la salud de la población. En el acto estuvieron presentes el licenciado Alcibíades Tavares, gobernador Provincial, el doctor Guillermo Hernández, director del hospital Anthonio Musa, así como la licenciada Eloisa Robinson, del Programa del Programa de la Tuberculosis.
También asistieron la licenciada Ada Ruiz, Gerente Administrativa del Servicio Regional de Salud, la doctora Elsa Valdez, Gerente Asistencial, los doctores Marcelino Vilorio y Martin Castillo, Gerentes Estratégico y Financiero, el Vice Ministro de Salud doctor Enmanuel Mendoza and Provincial Directors of Health, Hospital, area managers and health promoters throughout the region.
